Big Island Air would love for you to join us on an aerial tour of the Island of Hawaii. We fly a circle island tour taking you on a spectacular journey over an ever-changing landscape.

Hawaii is home to 11 of the world’s 13 climatic zones. You’ll see the world’s most active volcano, black sand beaches, towering sea cliffs, waterfalls that cascade into rain forests and ancient valleys.

Our tours depart from Kona International Airport five times daily and fly every day (weather permitting) and the tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

SUNSET/VOLCANO AIR TOUR
"Come and witness the birth of an island as rarely seen before"

Big Island Air is the only tour operator in Hawaii offering night tours of the volcano. At night the contrast allows for excellent lava viewing that is not available during the day.

This tour is a direct result of the change in eruption activity at Kilauea that started in July of 2007. The surface flows of molten lava can only be seen from the air. They presently cover an area more than eight miles long and offer uniquely spectacular night views.

Our tours depart from Kona International Airport. We fly every day (weather permitting) and the tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
